Not a bad day on the block today, wind relatively light, heat 30 degrees or so and less smoke haze. I started off doing the thing I least wanted to do but most wanted done, stapling the rest of the netting for insulation support. Got it finished finally, and it sure wasn't comfortable but it was mostly shady down there. Fantastic. Also knocked off the rest of the prep work for doing the slopey bathroom floor. I rounded off the day with a couple of sheets of flooring and discovered how hard it is to get the tongue into the groove without floor dogs (clamps). Lot's of hammering and worrying that the glue would dry before I could get it in. Got it close enough and good enough eventually.
Tomorrow will be a half day on the site as I will head out to look for two 3.7m posts at a recycled timber yard. It's exciting, who knows what treasures are out there. It's getting to that time again, time for putting together another timber schedule. We are about to get into posts and beams then internal framing. Going upwards!
