Pantry order at last
We had our eyes on it for a pantry knowing that it may somehow fit but that it would be tight. And it's an odd shaped room our pantry, odd like most shapes in the house. But I suppose before I launch into that I should describe how our pantry has been set up. One offcast piece of kitchen shelving, a TV trolley and a bunch of boxes on the floor. More storage than most places I've lived in but not very Zen. So yesterday Steven and Caroline (and Imogen) came visiting hoping for some rendering action. But I needed a break from rendering so Steven and I embarked on getting the square peg known as the shelving through the round holes that are our doors and into our pantry. I find it hard to know if these things are going to fit until I try so with a lot of manoeuvring we got it in and voila! It fit with about 15cm to spare. It looks like it was made for the space, just as our second hand kitchen does.
I love it when a plan, or lack of, comes together. It's just been one of those weekends when things go well.
