The longest time
Instead of having time, but no money, now we have money and less time! Ha, I know which one I would rather. As I sit here writing this, Peter and Dylan are outside in the beautiful sunshine digging holes to plant more fruit trees. We have a fabulous combo of horse manure, sheep manure, compost and worm castings to give them as their first feed in our ground. The weather is turning, and so is our spirits.
Peter has a new job he loves, and better still, it's part-time. He's landed a job at Virgin Australia Airlines as a pit crew member, loading/unloading of luggage and other such stuff. Being a big fan of airplanes and airports, he is in his element, and he is working with a great team, which he loves. Another benefit to building our own home, as Peter would never have had the confidence to apply for a job which such physical requirements prior to building. Out of 1500 applicants, only 15 got the gig, so he is rightly pleased with himself.
So after 3 weeks of full time training and then working Sundays at our local Foodworks, Peter is knackered (and so am I) so this weekend is catch up weekend. After we plant these fruit trees, Peter will be putting on the hand rails to finish the front deck, and then we will get the shed up outside, so we can re-arrange the studio/office area and get stuff out of the house into the shed. Yay! We are excited about setting up Peter's music studio as it was designed, for recording and playing music!
So look out Spring, here we come, yay for the beautiful sunshine!
